Ticks collected by flagging in northern Sweden. The collection and speciation was financed by the EU funded project OH4Surveillance.
Geographic Description
Coastal area and archipelago of Norrbotten, Sweden.
Purpose
The purpose was to collect ticks by flagging in this area in Norrbotten. Collected ticks were speciated and analysed for TBEV.
Methods
Ticks were collected in tubes and were later speciated by PCR.
