Bird communities in homegardens at different distances from Afromontane forests in SW Ethiopia

This dataset that contains event based data for species which may include sampling information

Description

This is a study comparing the bird diversity in homegardens and forests in southwestern Ethiopia. The data consist of both point count and mist netting data from 8 sites: two forest sites and 3 homegardens close to the forest edge and 3 homegardens far from the forest. The results are published in: Engelen, D., Lemessa, D., Şekercioglu, C. & Hylander, K. 2016. Similar bird communities in homegardens at different distances from Afromontane forests.
